Sr. Systems Engineer - Processing, Guidance, & Controls Engineers

This engineer will join Raytheon’s Processing, Guidance, & Controls organization, which supports guidance and control, sensor signal processing, and modeling and simulation for advanced aerospace and defense products. Responsibilities include creating algorithms and dynamic models, running simulations, evaluating system behavior, analyzing test results, and improving performance. The position requires collaboration with software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and test engineers to integrate and validate products. It suits an experienced STEM engineer with strengths in areas such as GNC, navigation, state estimation, controls, simulation, data analysis, or performance troubleshooting. The work is based onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or related STEM fieldAt least 5 years of relevant engineering experienceExperience with GNC, navigation, controls, signal processing, modeling, simulation, or system performance analysisProficiency with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or object-oriented designAbility to obtain an interim Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredAbility to work onsite in Tucson and collaborate across engineering disciplines
