IT System Administrator / Cyber Security Analyst

This position combines senior systems administration with day-to-day cybersecurity operations in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will maintain Windows or Linux infrastructure, directory services, virtualization, storage, backups, cloud platforms, and network-related systems while ensuring reliable performance and timely upgrades. Security responsibilities include reviewing monitoring alerts, assessing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation, supporting investigations, maintaining controls, and helping prepare for audits. The role also contributes to security awareness, documentation, technology evaluations, and cross-functional IT projects, with participation in after-hours on-call coverage. It suits an experienced IT professional who works independently, communicates well with technical and nontechnical colleagues, and can mentor others while serving as an escalation resource.
