Mechanical Inspector-2nd Shift

This position supports manufacturing quality by inspecting machined parts at multiple stages, including first-piece inspections and final verification. The inspector reviews blueprints, specifications, work instructions, and travelers to determine acceptance criteria and records accurate measurement results. Daily work involves basic shop mathematics, dimensional inspection, and use of tools such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, gauge blocks, and weight gauges. It would suit an early-career quality professional with exposure to machining, automotive, or aerospace production and an interest in developing skills in GD&T and CMM operation. Success requires careful visual evaluation, precision, and consistent adherence to documented requirements.
