Engineer I

This position supports the planning and execution of complex manufacturing work at FM Industries, from early product development through production. Responsibilities include creating process routes and bills of materials, preparing manufacturing drawings, estimating cycle times and costs, and designing fixtures, cutting tools, and other shop aids. The engineer partners with manufacturing, NPI, equipment engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and improve processes. Project coordination, clear communication, technical documentation, and adherence to safety and quality practices are central to the role. It suits an engineering graduate or someone with comparable manufacturing experience who is comfortable with technical problem-solving, CAD-related work, and cross-functional collaboration.
